Managing Director
David Opie founded Today’s Media in the year 2021 with a vision of creating the best platform for legal news and events. Today’s Media has achieved immense success and has become a leading supplier of legal news and events.
An advocate for flexible working arrangements as a cornerstone of his organisational ethos, David believes that flexibility not only enhances employee well-being and satisfaction but also fosters a culture of productivity and innovation. Embracing flexibility allows him to attract and retain top talent, cultivate a dynamic and resilient team, and ultimately drive success in the legal industry.
Grace Beech
Head of commercial
Grace began her career with us in 2019 as our event manager. In 2021, she transitioned to Commercial Partnership Manager, where her exceptional performance and dedication shone through. Most recently in 2023, she was appointed as our Head of Commercial, where she continues to bring extensive knowledge and expertise to the role. With a deep understanding of Today’s Media, Grace always puts the needs of our customers first and strives to provide the best possible service.
When chatting with with Grace, you may just hear the bark of her loyal companion Barney, the red fox Labrador – if you’re lucky!

Meet Allie, an accomplished event manager with more than a decade of experience in delivering outstanding events for prestigious clients in the fields of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and law. Her expertise results in our awards ceremonies bringing the WOW factor, as she consistently exceeds expectations and creates unforgettable experiences for attendees, and generates significant brand exposure for our partners nationwide.
Beyond her expertise in event management, Allie cherishes spending precious moments with her energetic 5-year-old. As a busy working mother, she knows the importance of balancing professional and family commitments.

With a degree in media and journalism, Eve is a highly experienced journalist with an impressive track record in print, online, and broadcasting. Her specialty lies in investigative reporting, human interest stories, and the economy – making her a well-rounded and sought-after professional in her field.
